We have state of the art theatre and procedure rooms where we undertake a wide range of procedures using the most advanced techniques.
Recent surgical audit results show that our detection rates are amongst the highest in the Hunter Region for melanoma detection.
Onsite Surgery
Some procedures can be undertaken during the skin check consultation. Others may require booking a specific appointment.
Procedures are performed under local anaesthetic or mild sedation. Our doctors take full care to minimise discomfort to patients and alleviate any anxiety.
Before all surgeries, we obtain a signed consent form to advise the patient of the cost of the procedure.
Post Operative Treatment
Aftercare procedures are explained to the patient at time of excision. Follow up visits may be required for wound or dressing review.
