The procedure fee is dependent on the complexity of the procedure and the time taken to complete. The fee will be discussed with the patient at the time of booking the procedure.
- Private patients – $85
- HCC and Pension card holder up to age 74 – $65
- Health Care Card and Pension Card holders over 75 years – bulk billed
- Children under 16 – $60
- Children under 16 attending with a paying adult on same day – bulk billed
- There is no extra fee for post operative care.
Yes! Bulk billing is offered to patients over the age of 75 years and children under 16 who are accompanied by a adult who come on the same day for skin check.
Hunter Valley Skin Cancer Clinic is able to provide most services on site. A small number of complicated cases may be referred to an appropriate speciality.
The Hunter Valley Skin Cancer Clinic has affiliation with the Melanoma Unit at Calvary Mater Hospital, Newcastle.
